• Working for the University Of Pune, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences, Pune as teacher, Paper setter & Examiner in Health care subjects of their M.B.A. courses.
• Working as Assessor & Auditor of hospitals for National & International organizations.
• Working for many Health Insurance companies & TPAs in claim settlement work, offering medico-legal opinion.
• Worked as Surgeon to K.E.M. Hospital, Pune  for 7 years1972 to 1979.
• Worked as the Medical Administrator, KEM Hospital, Pune, for five Years (1996 to 2001).  This was a 550-bedded multi-specialty teaching (under-graduate & post-graduate medical courses) hospital and had two rural hospitals attached.
• Worked as the Director of Academics & Research in Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune of Grant Medical Foundation a 600 bedded multi-specialty tertiary care hospital & post-graduate institution, recognized by the National Board of Examinations New Delhi.
•  Worked as Hospital Administrator in Al Hayat Hospital, Bahrain, Middle East to commission the hospital.
• Worked as Chief Executive Officer & Professor of Surgery at Chittagong, Bangladesh for a Medical College & hospital run by a Private Charitable trust.
• Worked as Professor (Adjunct) of Health Insurance in NIA from Dec.2006 to March 2010. Worked as visiting Faculty member for programmes arranged by the Academy (since 2000) for executives of various National & International insurance companies & for MBA in Insurance students at the National Insurance Academy, Pune. 
• Invited on many occasions by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi as Inspector for fresh accreditations of their D.N.B. courses in Hospital Administration courses.

CONTRIBUTION TO MEDICAL JOURNALS

• Authored many articles on Medico-legal subject for the “KEM Parivar”of KEM

      Hospital, Pune,

•  Has been invited by the “Physician’s Digest”, Mumbai to write many articles on

Medico Legal subjects.

• Contributed articles to the Pune Symbiosis Medico legal Times.
• In 1985-86 was elected as the Hon Editor of “Surgical Times” of the Maharashtra Chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India. .
• Was a member of editorial team of the journal of Poona Club.
• Contributed many articles on health insurance & related medico-legal issues 

            in the National Insurance Academy journals PRAVARTAK & Bimaquest.

• Authored a book on “Guidelines on effective Hospital Administration”.

ORGANIZATION WORK 

• Have been elected as Executive Vice President of Indian Jaycees in 

     1979. In 1977 was the President of Poona Jaycees.

• Was the President of Poona Surgical Chapter Of the Association of Surgeons of

India, in 1985-86 organized many symposia & CMEs for the benefit of post-graduate students of Poona University appearing for MS (General) examinations.

• Was elected Hon. Secretary of the Maharashtra Surgical Chapter of the Association

of Surgeons of India, from 1989 to 2001, I had successfully organised three State level Conferences in three different areas in the State of Maharashtra, which were well attended by members & by members from other states in the country & abroad.

• Was elected member of the Governing Council Of the Association of Surgeons of

      India, for three years from 2001 to 2004 with HQ in Chennai

• Pune Forum of Consumers has appointed me as the Convener for Health Insurance   

       related issues.
