Nikhil Mahadeshwar, Co-Founder & Director at Skynet Softtech Pvt. Ltd. a customer-centric cybersecurity tech start-up that empowers individuals or businesses to safeguard and secure their digital world from ever-evolving cyber threats. Nikhil is an accomplished cybersecurity expert, digital forensics investigator and serial tech innovator. Prior to co-founding Skynet, he founded Feathers Group, a web development and cybersecurity advisory firm that he founded at the age of 16.
Nikhil pioneered an initiative called ‘Cyber Secured India’ where he trained amateur cybersecurity practitioners from every facet of society. Over the last decade, he has published and presented research papers on Ethical Hacking & Information Security, 150 Years of Future World Report and Social Media Marketing for SMEs & PLEs, among other contemporary issues in cybersecurity and digital privacy. Nikhil holds a bachelors degree in the field of Computer Applications from MDES, Mumbai.
Additionally, Nikhil has certifications such as, Certified Security Analyst from EC Council (2017), Hacking Forensics Investigator from EC Council (2017), ISO 27001:2013 Information Security Management Systems Lead Auditor from IRCA Global (2017) and Threat Intelligence Analyst from EC Council (2018). Nikhil is a member of the Cyber Attack Community at the Asian School of Cyber Law, Pune and an official visiting faculty member of the Maharashtra Entrepreneurship Development Program of the Maharashtra Government. He is on the linkage and advisory committee of his alma mater Shardashram Vidyamandir Tantrik Vidyalaya & Jr. College of Science (vocational). Nikhil has received numerous awards and has been recognized as the youngest entrepreneur from MBC and was also presented as the youngest researcher in the National Conference of Social Media Responsibility.
Previously, Nikhil has been a Digital Volunteer for the Social Media Cell, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting – Government of India at New Delhi. Nikhil has the unique distinction of having trained more than 30,000 people (entrepreneurs, students, law enforcement & investigative agencies and corporates) on various topics related to Cyber Security and Digital privacy. Nikhil is a consistent presence as a guest lecturer at the top engineering colleges and management institutes across India and is a top-line consultant with law enforcement agencies in India.
